Biography
Wes Chamberlain brings a big sound that doesn’t stick to one norm. The eclectic sound will tear your hair off and melt your eyes. With two EP’s behind him, Wes is looking to the future, with his eyes on diversity and innovation.
Prevailing from South Devon, Wes Chamberlain has made it his life’s mission to show the world what he can do. Studying music from a young age, and diving into dramatics and other creative paths. Wes is a born creator with a passion for everything music. When is performing, writing or recording, nothing else matters. It's as if someone dimmed the lights and shone a spotlight on what matters. It's another dimension, a new spiritual plain and Wes wants nothing more than to share that with the world.
With his passion for everything music, Wes just can’t stick to one genre. Originating in a synth-pop childhood reflective sound, Wes has matured with his music and is now digging his heels into variety, metamorphosis and modernity. Wes’s music spans from alternative rock to neo jazz wild-west-esque blues, but always with a spin of Wes.
Recently, Wes and his band (consisting of himself, Mike Chamberlain, Tom Carter and Max Tyler) have played some big venues in the Devon area including Exeter Phoenix, Powderham Castle and Exeter Cavern (where Wes had his first official headline show). All these brilliant experiences have led to a huge uprising in following and Wes is ready to take the mainstage for many years to come. Last year, Wes released his second EP ‘Power & Conflict’ focusing on the struggles he had seen others go through before and within the pandemic. His first EP was described as 'Wes Chamberlain and his backing band work in harmony, a mesmerising live act, when preforming they take his dream sequences to a place of effortless jazz, drenched in buttery harmonies. - Millie Hindle (IndieCentralMusic) 2020'. Whereas his previous EP ‘A Nebulous Vision’ was about how to find yourself, ‘Power & Conflict’ focused on Wes’s need to help others and his care for them. Now, his work is a direct result of that. You’ll have to see what that means....
Stay tuned! Wes has written his best work yet and it is only getting better. You may hear some new tracks by the end of 2022!
